each tree be bundled together.

TIDEWATER RED CYPRESS Tongue & Grove Flooring. With
flooring we have to be careful to cut from the right area of the log.

TIDEWATER RED CYPRESS A completely different look. This board
is Flat Sawn and comes from the upper part of the tree. You can tell
from the small knots.

EASTERN
RED CEDAR. Cedar is Aromatic. It is far superior to most
Texas Cedar due to its tight grain and far better grain structure.
Can be used for flooring with the proper cut.

This is COASTAL RED CYPRESS. It is hard to find with only small
stands located in swampy lowlands. This board has been planed,
otherwise it is NATURAL

This is the other side of the board as shown above, but not planed.

This END Cut view shows the TIGHT and RED Grain. Though not always,
the red color comes from salt water contamination. The Diameter of these tree
trunks seldom grow over 18 inches. For large diameter trunks we
have to use Tidewater Red Cypress.

This cut comes from the same log as shown above. It is Flat Sawn,
and from the outer part of the log. It has been planed.

This is the Rough Cut side of the above board. Comments: We use Tidewater
Red Cypress for Beams. Coastal Red Cypress is used for small beams,
Flooring, Cabinets, Decking and Paneling. Pecky Cypress is used for
decorative purposes, It is available in Light Pecky and Very Pecky.

WHITE CEDAR. Has a nice straight grain pattern. It is also slightly aromatic.
If you need CLEAR and clean White Cedar for your project we can supply it.
Shown is a cut from higher in the timber to show both CLEAR on the right to
FIGURED on the left. This Cedar can be ordered ALL CLEAR, MIXED,

MCP Mills & Its two Affiliated Companies have been successful for two decades. Whereas most competitors have fallen by the wayside. This does not mean we work harder or smarter. SUCCESS IS DUE TO AN IRONCLAD RULE ; make absolutely sure the customer receives the product ordered and deliver it on time.

We produce wood products that stand out from the ordinary. That is; we don't just sell Cypress, we sell Cypress with an attitude (see our 26 page Photo Essay for project and product examples.)

Wood when properly used, adds both beauty and value. Even a small investment will make a LARGE difference in added resale value.

By Wood Mill standards we are a small operation, however, investment in plant , & equipment is over a million dollars. Timber leases, raw & finished goods inventory can be over a 1/4 million dollars at any one time.

Our operation is separated into profit centers;

  1. Logging & Timbers MCP & Elliot Logging
  2. Rough Lumber & Beams MCP & Howard Mills.
  3. Reclaimed Lumber & Beams MCP Mills
  4. Processing, Milling & Molding Howard & Cernoch Mills
  5. Finishing, (i.e., High Light Sanding) MCP Mills
  6. Furniture, Doors, Windows, etc. Cernoch & Butcher Mills

For our Clients this provides a mechanism for financial protection. For our Mills, it means production control & adequate scheduling in addition to meeting our cash flow requirements.

We require a deposit for each stage of the process. For Finishing and Services prepayment is required. For the Clients Protection we provide a statement of ownership. This provides access to remove the product within a reasonable time period in the event the Client fires us or we can not continue the process for any reason within the terms of the Contract.

The Client OWNS the product to the amount of their financial investment for each stage of the process.

A Purchase Order is required for each job phase. Ex; a P.O. for Raw Product, for Production, for Finishing, & one for Services. Payment balance is due upon shipping consignment to a Common Carrier.

We are very price competitive for the products we market. And, even more important we conform to SPIB & NHLA Grading Rules and Regulations.
